We agree the scope before work begins, then test the setup against the way your business answers calls.
Survey the office and your callers
We discuss reception, sales, operations, remote users and the numbers your business needs to keep. A floor plan or walkthrough identifies phone positions, Ethernet cabling, switch capacity and Power over Ethernet or adapters. We review internet readiness and note any call-quality symptoms that should be investigated before the move.
Design call handling and the cutover
We map the main number, extensions, voicemail, available groups and after-hours handling. Phone compatibility is checked against the current VBC support information. If numbers must transfer, we help collect the account details and coordinate with the providers. Existing service stays active until transfer completion is confirmed.
Assign devices, configure and test
With authorized access, we help assign supported phones to the correct extensions and configure the agreed calling features. Staff can use supported desktop or mobile apps where the account permits. We test inbound and outbound calling, transfers, voicemail and routing from the actual workstations. New network cabling is scoped separately.
Train the team and document the setup
We demonstrate answering, hold, transfer and voicemail, with attention to the people handling the main business number. The administrator receives a handover of agreed settings and a path for follow-up help. Extra training, service visits or ongoing VBC administration can be quoted as your requirements change.
